In the fall of 2002, the City & County of Denver's junior golf program became the first operational First Tee chapter in Colorado.

The First Tee of Denver has three junior courses. Chubb’s 4-hole course at City Park golf course, Katie’s 4-hole course at Willis Case golf course and the newly opened Hogan's Alley 3-hole course at Wellshire golf course.
