Caddie Program

Some say that if you have never played golf with a caddie, then you have never really played the game of golf.  The First Tee of Denver runs a small caddie program at the City of Denver’s five courses: City Park, Willis Case, Wellshire, Kennedy, and Overland. If advanced notice is made, caddies can be arranged at other courses as well.   Caddies work entirely off of tips, and are happy to double bag. In general we keep about 8 caddies on staff for the year and they are between the ages of 13-18.

The main purpose of our caddie program is to help students fulfill their caddie requirements for The Evans Scholarship at the Eisenhower Branch located at the University of Colorado. It is a full tuition scholarship along with housing for all four years of college. It is a very prestigious and very competitive scholarship. To date 6 kids from The First Tee of Denver programs have received the scholarship.
